Mark Milward, MNAEA MARLA

Director

Director of Adams Estate Agents and owner of the Cheltenham and Hatherley offices. Mark is passionate about the way Adams support clients through the maze of moving to a new home. An Estate Agent since the early 1980’s, Mark has worked for both independent and corporate agencies developing a thorough knowledge of buying, selling and renting property in the UK. Mark says ‘What I really love about my industry is that you will never ‘know it all’ - I’m still learning, and still loving my job! At home I have a wonderful family, a supportive wife, 2 amazing children and a much loved Labrador called Olive. What little spare time I have, I enjoy tinkering with a very needy classic car and playing drums in a local covers band called The Bridge – look them up!’

Russell Brookes MARLA

Lettings Manager

Russell who is a born and bred Cheltonian heads the letting team with true passion and an unshakeable love for the industry. He is responsible for looking after all of our highly valued Landlords and will go to the ends of the earth to make sure that they are well serviced and taken care of. Russell believes strongly in the mission statement of our letting company – ‘To only let houses that we would be happy to live in – only to people that we would be happy to let our own homes to’. Russell says “this is a powerful message that’s sets our company apart from the normal run-of-the-mill letting agent”.

In his spare time Russell loves his sport and spending time with his young family.


Becky

Property Manager

Becky looks after all of the internal accounts and tenant/landlord payments. Becky also heads the maintainance team and oversees a wide variety of activity such as flying fence panels and leaking ceilings. Becky loves variety and her working day fulfills this desire 100%, which, coincidently, is the same percentage as the effort she makes ensuring our Landlords never have to worry about their property.

At home Becky has two wonderful older children that remain by her side and when she isn't making sure that her clients properties are in perfect condition, she is engrossed in the development of her own property, which remains now, as it has for many years, a work in progress.


Tom Pinkham

Lettings Sales & Maintenance

Tom is responsible for placing the right tenant into the right property, a task that he thoroughly enjoys and is extremely good at. One of the primary reasons Landlords love using Adams Estate Agents is that we refuse to place anyone, into anything. We are dilligent in choosing the properties and Landlords that we act for and Tom is extremely adept in ensuring that the tenants we place in those properties are of the highest possible calibre. Tom will also act as the first level team for maintenance enquiries.

We can't fathom what Tom does in his own time and it probably isn't wise to ask.

Director

Director and owner of Adams Estate Agents in Winchcombe, Adrian is a local resident with over 30 years’ experience in the property industry having previously worked for independent agents and large corporate firms. Adrian believes strong local knowledge, continuity of staff and having local connections really benefit clients who are selling and letting their homes as these are especially valuable when welcoming buyers moving into the area. As a licensed member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA), Adrian oversees lettings and can advise on 'Buy to Let' and the mass of ever-changing legal requirements which surround the Lettings side of the business. Adrian is family man whose limited spare time is spent keeping fit playing Badminton, walking, DIY and occasional golf.

Branch Sales Manager Ben Moss leads a long-established sales team selling and renting all types of property in Winchcombe, Cheltenham and the Cotswold villages. After graduating from University in 2002, Ben moved to London to train in Estate Agency before moving back to Gloucestershire with his family where he grew up. Ben has many years’ experience in the Cotswold property market having worked in Broadway, Cirencester and Winchcombe. Ben ensures the very highest standards of customer service which he feels is key to getting results. His in- depth knowledge, personable nature and careful monitoring of sales ensure that our exacting service standards are met during every transaction.

Having lived and worked in the Cotswolds for many years he brings unrivalled knowledge and experience which has proved invaluable when helping our clients move home.

Lindsay is our experienced Office Administrator and Receptionist. A popular local lady who is active in the community, she is a keen runner and cyclist and runs a weekly running club. She is enthusiastic and committed to offering a high level of customer service to clients. Having lived in Winchcombe for many years with her family, she is extremely familiar with the local area.

Accounting and Book-keeping for the business ‘behind the scenes’ since the outset in 1993, Janet performs an important role in ensuring the financial status of the company remains rock solid and organised through her meticulous attention to detail. Landlord accounts are continually monitored and audited for accuracy in addition to all the general VAT, book-keeping and accounting required by the business.
