Renting Information
Landlords
The Lettings market has grown considerably in recent years along with the legislation designed to protect both Landlord’s and Tenant’s interests. Whilst some landlords feel confident they can manage their own properties, there is an ever increasing potential to fall foul of legal and other requirements.
The expertise and ‘duty of care’ offered by us as professional Letting Agents is designed to ensure your valuable asset is protected and your letting does not become a burden. As a professional member of the NAEA with Client Money Protection and having qualified with the Guild of Letting and Management you can rely on our service.
Tenants
Whether you’re renting a 1 bedroom apartment or a detached country home, for a short or long-term, we appreciate that you are paying for, and are entitled to, a properly maintained, comfortable and safe home. When we’re managing the landlord’s property, we will act swiftly to resolve any problems you report to us.
Prospective tenants should bear in mind that it is usual for at least one month’s rent plus a Damage Deposit (equal to at least another month’s rent) to be paid in ‘cleared funds’ before a tenancy can commence. A ‘Holding Deposit/Admin Fee’ is required for us to check references and progress your application.
